The Days That Have Passed Me By....

Hey all

sorry for not updating for so long.... have been really busy x) hehehe... anyways here's what's been happening so far in the days that have passed me by....

Friday - The most exciting part of friday was that i was finally going to meet my sisters. it was like finally i get to see them and talk to them and alll i mean i just miss having them around in college thank goodness their coming back soon.... So anyways i ended up meeting up with them super late due to some problems along the way so yeah.. i went there quickly rushed to ANW's to meet up witht them and when i arrived i started apologizing and giggled inside due to the fact tjhat i realised all the girls were wearing white except su yee cause she was wearing white and black and all the guys were wearing black.. oh the cuteness of certain things in life... it is the little things in life that we should be happy about...so yeah after the short dinner we all rushed to the cinema to cash out movie made of honour staring patrick dempsey who is as usual dreamy... hehe *giggles with excitement... its such a nice movie its romantic yet funny i had a good time watching it... ;) after the movie we went up to the lil playground in the new wing and finall manage to have a look at the amazing view of ttdi at night. i agree with lw the lights are so preeeeeetyyyy x) we took some shots here and there and then we got ice cream at baskin robbins and called it a night... here's some pics...

Saturday - I woke up early and got myself out of bed and headed off to university malaya. the campus is so huge my daddy said thaat its like 600 something acres.. its huge there's even a traffic light in the campus O.o cute right? hehe i bet some of u are wondering what on earth is natalie doing in Universiti Malaya on a nice saturday morning... well shes there to take part in the mathematic olympiad competition i bet you all are now gasping or are in a state of shock.. hehe well the competition was seriously tough. i know learned to never underestimate math geeks x) so after the competition some of us which is ethan, huey ren, nick, rachel and i decided to head over to ikea to eat some swedish meatballs x) hehe but i decided to be bold and different and settled for some new dish ikea was serving it was called something salmon... sorry i forgot the name hehe but it tasted really good lolz.... maybe i should go there later and eat it again..... hehe so after that we all decided to go and look at some puppies and i fell in love with a white pomeranian puppy at pet safari in ikano hehe * SQUELS WITH EXCITEMENT... SHE JUST MAKES ME WANNA HUG HER ALL THE TIME. SHES LIKE THIS LIL BUNDLE OF JOY... after that we decided to head home and i did my mind your own business (MYOB) accounts hw...

Sunday - the highlight of my sunday was my breakfast . why you ask cause my mum cooked an awesome breakfast. hehe i don't know how to explain it and i didn't take any pics cause my tummy got to me first. anyways i shall attempt to cook it next sunday and i make sure i hold my tummy back this time and take some pictures of it hehe... the rest of the day was enjoyed by stoning my life away... x) stoning is just so much fun *giggles



Monday- As usual mondays were mondays. i went up on the bus and slept sach woke me up though when we reached school. i went to class and ntn exciting happened and then came eating time. my fav period of the day x) sorry but when the tummy calls it calls ... anyways so me and my classmates decided les go and try the new pan mee shop next to burger king. so we walked and when we finally arrived the place was packed but luckily we managed to get some seats we settled down we ordered but the food never came. some us were lucky they managed to get their food after half an hour. unfortunately for huey ren, lynndy and i we never got out food and class was going to start really soon. so we cancelled our order and fled to some other places for food. on the way out i saw tj at the waffle stand and me being all curious and was in need of corn decided to go there. apparently he was buying waffles for 3 of us he is such a sweet guy :) hehe... i still wanted my corn but before i could ordered i realised that i didn't have my wallet with me so i stoned. i waited with tj for a while before he shoed me to go to class so yeah... that was it.. thanks for the waffles tj...



Tuesday - It was a day just like every other. Taylor's was hot and classes were cold. lessons were long and breaks were short. except that i went around browsing at some clothes shops hehe.... i saw some very cute pants at Katz the one near ac.. and i so need to buy them their only rm35 and there's a 10% discount hehe... you can hardly find pants at that price. and i found this very cute top too hehe .. i so need to get them ... if only i had a money tree but oh well hehe... played with the cute lil baby in ac after that x)

Wednesday - i had bio lab during the first period and i disected a kidney hehe x) ok fine i didn't disect one but i watched people do it and helped identified some of the stuff on it like the cortex and medulla and stuff... hehehe it smelled really bad and nick's sheep's kidney looked old and wrinkly lolz.... the kidney disection was the highlight of that day other then the fact that i finally got my pan mee hehe and i had ice kacang too lucky thing they didn't add any red beans lol... if not iw as so not going to eat and pay for it hehe x) and i discovered there's a carefour next to the new pan mee shop oh the cuteness cause carefour is usually huge hehe... anyways heres some pics...

Thursday - as you all might have figured out by now... i'm not in college. sadly i had a fever since yesterday after all the excitement.... and it got even worst in the evening so as a result i'm at home resting now... hopefully i'm not missing anything in college... anyways i'm off to rest again..

PS : i feel elegantly wasted right now by not doing anything. i feel restless i need to do something neyh if i could i would so drive to college now and attend class however i don't have a car yet.. sadness... *emo's

Euthanasia - should it be legalized in malaysia?

sorry for the lack of updates for the pass few days. i was busy hehe =P. anyways my G11 classmates would recognize the title of this wonderful blogpost. for those of you who don't know the title of my post for today is the same as my euthanasia research project . i had to give a short presentation on it on wednesday . here is my speech ---

A very good morning to my esl lecturer mrs banu and my fellow friends

Today i would like to present a short presentation on euthanasia. My focus question for today would be ' Should Euthanasia Be Legalized In Malaysia? '

Firstly, i bet all of you are wondering what on earth is euthanasia.Well for those of you who don't know euthanasia is defined as the intentional termination of life by another through the explicit request of the person who whiches to die.

Now as you all know euthanasia as been legalized in severall parts of the world such as Oregon, US and in the Netherlands. However, now these countries are now facing the negative side effects of legalizng euthanasia. For example in Oregon, the oregonians are now facing a decrease in the standards of health care. A report card issued by the Last Acts Organization proves my point as the report card stated clearly that Oregon has received a 'D' grade for hospice and an 'E' grade for pallilative care programs. Another drawback that the oregonians are facing is that there is now an increase in medical cost. The Oregon Health Plan that normally subsidies for patients who can't afford treatment recently cut off 10000 poor people from the plan in 2003. In 2004 and the first half of the year an additional 75000 people were cut from the plan yet again.

The dutch are facing a different situation. Firstly, they are facing an inhibition in medical advancement. This is due to the fact that euthanasia has become a norm. So doctors normally just euthanize patients especially when they face any puzzling medical problems.Another negative side effects that the Dutch now face is that many of their patients are being euthanized without consent. A study released by the Dutch government showed that 9.1% of the deaths that occur in the Netherlands annuallyis due to euthanaisa. In other words this means that approximately 1040 people which means 3 people per day are euthanized. The similar results were produced 5 years later.

Now let us look at the advantages of euthanasia. Firstly, euthanaisa helps reduce the pain suffered by patients. As patients normally suffer the worst kind of pains during the last few months of their life. They will exprience both physical and physiological pain. Euthanasia can prevent all of this from happening. Another advantage of euthanasia is that the patients loved ones will suffer emotional pains as sometimes they too suffer as much or even more pain than the patient themselves as they have stressed for a long period of time.

However, euthanasia has some disadvantages. One of them is that it violates the hippocratic oath. When a physicians takes the oath, he or she is actually promising or swearing to never ever prescribe a deadly drug to any patient no matter what the circumstances are. So by legalizing euthanasia we are actually allowing physicians to help their patients commit suicide. This in turn violates the hipprocratic oath and weakens the doctor-patient trust. Secondly, euthanasia gives patients and doctors a chance to give up on recovery a little bit too early. As some patients may decide to give up on treatment early. This gives absolutely no chance of recovery as for all you know the doctor might have made a mistake in the diagnosis. In the netherlands this is true as many dutch patients actually decline any type of treatments when they know their about to die.

In conclusion, euthanasia should never ever be legalized in Malaysia because it has shown to have negative side effects in places where it has already been legalized. Other then that it will also be abused as doctors will be given the power to decide who gets to go on the road to recovery and who goes onto the road of the afterllife. Thank you

To my new and for some unemofied blog :) Welcome. it is now so pleasent, sweet and girly girl looking =P hehe... oh well i guess some people would never expect me to put pictures of roses and stargazers on my blog . Anyways have you all ever heard of aphrodite?

Well for those of you who don't shes actually the ancient greek Goddess of Love and Beauty.According to Hesiod, she was born when Uranus (the father of the gods) was castrated by his son Cronus. Cronus threw the severed genitals into the ocean which began to churn and foam about them. From the aphros ("sea foam") arose Aphrodite, and the sea carried her to either Cyprus or Cythera. Hence she is often referred to as Kypris and Cytherea. Homer calls her a daughter of Zeus and Dione.

After her birth, Zeus was afraid that the gods would fight over Aphrodite's hand in marriage so he married her off to the smith god Hephaestus, the steadiest of the gods. He could hardly believe his good luck and used all his skills to make the most lavish jewels for her. He made her a girdle of finely wrought gold and wove magic into the filigree work. That was not very wise of him, for when she wore her magic girdle no one could resist her, and she was all too irresistible already. She loved gaiety and glamour and was not at all pleased at being the wife of sooty, hard-working Hephaestus.

Aphrodite loved and was loved by many gods and mortals. Among her mortal lovers, the most famous was perhaps Adonis. Some of her sons are Eros, Anteros, Hymenaios and Aeneas (with her Trojan lover Anchises). She is accompanied by the Graces.

Her festival is the Aphrodisiac which was celebrated in various centers of Greece and especially in Athens and Corinth. Her priestesses were not prostitutes but women who represented the goddess and sexual intercourse with them was considered just one of the methods of worship. Aphrodite was originally an old-Asian goddess, similar to the Mesopotamian Ishtar and the Syro-Palestinian goddess Ashtart. Her attributes are a.o. the dolphin, the dove, the swan, the pomegranate and the lime tree.

In Roman mythology Venus is the goddess of love and beauty and Cupid is love's messenger.

It started out like any other-

i'm sitting here now instead of going to college cause well theres no college today for the SAM students only so yeah hehe i got to catch up on some of my lost sleep.



hehe i cooked breakfast today (no, i didn't burn down the kitchen). I decided to try one of those recipes that i saw on tv the other day no idea whats it called anyway. but who cares it involves melted cheese that flows with the slightest touch.... hehe * squels with excitement... i like cheese do you like cheese? lolz...



anyways my sister is in the choir competition for state level. i envy her. i've been waiting for 5 years ever since i first joined the choir to go and compete with the rest of my choir friends but sadly that oppurtunity never came and it only came after my time. sadness *emos....



anyways this will sound very random but can someone give me something to sing about? hmmm ever wondered what makes you sing ? come to think of it i have no idea what makes me sing probably some happy occasion or something. nyeh i have no clue. i know i sing in the shower sometimes :) but then again majority of the world's population probably does that. its just whether they admit it or not. hmmm so dear reader what makes you sing? do you sing in the shower just like i do? haha x)

New Driver On The Road

muahahahahaha

guess whose the new driver in town? well guess no furthur cause its me x) hehehe i passed my driving test after not being able to sit for it th last monday. oh the joy finally its all over and i can move on in my life. i now just need a car.hmmm maybe my parents will get me one for my 18th birthday this year *crosses fingers and chants car car car car* well su yee wants to hear the whole story so i shall just type it here for her to read....

it all started in the morning when my maid woke me up at 6.15am and i told her to wake me up at 6.30am she came back at 6.30am and i was like nyeh and i finally woked up. i was confused really. i really forgot that i was sitting for my driving test today so when i finally remembered i rushed through the shower and brush my teeth and swallowed down my chocolate biscuits for breakfast. i couldn't help it the chocolate biscuits were saying eat me natalie eat me natalie its not my fault i just wanted to end their misery by satisfying their needs to be eaten by me. awyz i quickly rushed to the guardhouse and realised oh man i'm late cause mr fung was there. i was still sleepy despite the sugary chocolate biscuits so i sort of closed my eyes in the car but i was still aware of my surroundings. hehe =P so awyz when we finally reached the safety drving centre place i quickly checked if my card was there so that i can sit for the exam thank goodness it was or else i'll be devastated all over again. so i filled it up and waited for my turn. i waited and waited lucky thing jia ern was there with me we laughed and talked a lot while waiting. oh for those who don't know who jia ern is well shes a really nice girl that i met on the car =). awyz finally i heard the speaker say nombor calon-calon berikut tolong pergi ke pondok untuk menunggu untuk mengambil ujian mendaki bukit (something along those lines) no 114 then i was like oh no the nervousness was kicking in again. so i went i waited. i tried hard to not get a blue or red car cause apparently those are really old. in the end i managed to get a nice white car yay me :) so i drove up the bukit and yay my mirror was parallel to the first stick so i passed. went on to parking which i got really nervous about cause the guy before me failed just because his tire was touching the white line. so yeah i was like oh pls let my car fit nicely into the box. then i drove in and did everything i passed it. oh apparently i did my parking in like 3 mins thats fast isn't it ? did the 3 point turn and wah lah i passed everything over there yay ....

i then waited for 3 hours to sit for my road exam. so when i finally get to sit for it i was like yay finally. i got a really quiet instructor. he was a chinese which was rather weird in a good way cause i heard from my firends that they nv heard of a chinese tester before so yeah i drove the cars were nice to me they didn't horn me (thank you so much for being nice to me) which was good cause my instructor doesn't let me drive fast so i was get horned at for driving slow. my tester was quiet and didn't say a word to me throughout the whole thing. it freaked me out really.... i couldn't stand the quietness.... but i drove on... so later on i signed the formed and i saw the score then i started screaming inside me and i was like i passed i passed ehehe... was so happy then ... i returned to the waiting place and told my mum the news and she too was happy. so yeah that was how it all went.

as for the rest of the day i went to play squash with my sister and mum. hehe it was fun x) then ate a wonderful dinner and here i 'am typing this :). awyz i think thats all for now i'm sure its long enough now. bye all
